Palm Beach County, FL (April 20, 2021) – Authorities in Palm Beach County are currently investigating the circumstances of a crash that happened just before 9:00 a.m. on the morning of April 20. According to information from various sources, the wreck occurred on I-95 for reasons still being investigated by police.
The incident was reported to have occurred on Interstate 95 near the exit for Okeechobee Boulevard West. At least one person sustained injuries and required emergency assistance at the scene.
Paramedics rendered aid to those who were hurt at the site of the collision. Extensively injured victims were transported to local medical centers for further care as needed.
No one involved has been identified at this time. Authorities in West Palm Beach continue to investigate.
Four left lanes of the interstate were blocked while responders worked to secure the scene. Traffic delays occurred as a result of the roadblocks.
