Broward County, FL (July 15, 2021) – At least one person sustained injuries in an accident that happened in Broward County on the afternoon of July 15. At approximately 4:48 p.m., police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the incident in order to assist those involved.
Upon their arrival at the site of the wreck, located on University Drive South near Cleary Boulevard, police, paramedics, and fire crews found that two or more vehicles had been involved in a crash.
Paramedics assisted those with injuries at the scene before transporting seriously injured parties to local medical centers for further care. The identities of those involved have not been reported at this time.
All lanes of the roadway were blocked while police were present at the scene. Local drivers were forced to find alternative travel routes for the time that the site of the crash remained active.
