Brevard County, FL (July 21, 2021) – A serious auto accident caused injuries on an interstate in Miami on the morning of July 21. At around 10:19 a.m., the incident was reported to officials who were promptly dispatched to the scene.
According to reports, the wreck occurred on Interstate 95 North near milepost 198. How and why the accident occurred remains unknown at this time.
At least one person was injured in the crash. Paramedics rendered emergency medical aid to those in need at the scene before transporting seriously injured patients to local hospitals by ambulance. The names of the injured parties have not been released as police in Miami continue to investigate.
All lanes of traffic on I-95 were blocked while crews worked at the scene. Traffic was backed up to Exit 195/SR-519 for an extended period of time.
