Miami, FL (August 1, 2021) – One woman lost her life in a vehicle collision in Miami on the morning of July 31. At approximately 2:00 a.m., police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene in order to render aid to involved parties.
A 38-year-old woman lost her life at the scene and four others sustained injuries, according to reports. The crash happened on State Road 80 near Lexington Parkway for reasons still under police investigation.
A pickup truck being driven by a 32-year-old Moore Haven man collided with the rear-end of an SUV while both vehicles were headed east on SR-80.
The two vehicles left the roadway and collided with a guardrail, according to reports. A third vehicle involved, said to be a sedan driven by a Clewiston woman, aged 21, slammed into the rear-end of the SUV and overturned. The female driver sustained minor injuries.
Paramedics treated injured parties on-site before transporting those in need of extensive treatment to local hospitals as needed. The identities of the involved parties have not been released at this time.
