Miami-Dade, FL (August 12, 2021) – An auto accident with injuries was reported in the Miami-Dade area on the afternoon of August 12. The wreck was reported to officials at around 4:44 p.m.
Sources indicate that the accident occurred on I-95 South near SR-860/Miami Gardens Drive. Three left lanes were blocked as a result of the collision and responder presence on the road.
At least one person required treatment by paramedics at the scene due to injuries they sustained in the crash. An unknown number of people were transported from the scene via ambulance to area hospitals for treatment.
Traffic delays ensued in the area for some time while crews worked to clear the scene on I-95 South. Local motorists were forced to find alternative travel routes for the time being.
