Miami-Dade, FL (September 13, 2021) – Authorities in Miami-Dade are investigating the circumstances of an auto accident that occurred on the afternoon of September 12. At around 10:41 p.m., police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the crash in order to render aid to injured parties.
When they arrived at the crash site, located on Southwest 16th Street in the 10300 block, EMS personnel found one or more people suffering from injuries. Emergency aid was rendered to those in need before transporting victims who appeared to be seriously injured to local hospitals for treatment.
The identities of those involved in the collision have not been reported at this time. The left lanes of the roadway were closed while responders worked at the scene. Traffic delays in the area were observed as a result.
Officials asked local drivers to avoid the crash site while the scene was active. Authorities in Broward County continue to investigate the circumstances of the wreck.
