Miami-Dade, FL (September 17, 2021) – Authorities in Miami-Dade County are investigating the circumstances of a serious auto accident that happened on Friday morning, September 17.
EMS units say one person sustained serious injuries in the two-vehicle crash. Police added that the wreck occurred on Northwest 22nd Avenue near 81st Street.
An initial report released by Florida Highway Patrol troopers indicated that the collision occurred between two sedans around 6:30 a.m.
Paramedics transported one seriously injured victim to an area medical center and pronounced another victim dead at the scene.
The collision closed all lanes in the immediate area, though roadways reopened by 8:00 a.m. Authorities in Miami continue to investigate the circumstances of the wreck.
