Florida Pedestrian Accidents
Unfortunately, pedestrian collisions in Florida happen all too often. The Sunshine State is a popular tourist attraction due to its year-round warm weather and many attractions. Millions of people are drawn here yearly to take advantage of everything our wonderful state has to offer. Sadly, more traffic accidents are inevitable when more people are present. A statistical report from Smart Growth America ranked states and metropolitan areas throughout the country on how life-threatening it is for people who choose to walk instead of drive. Out of the 20 states that were examined, Florida ranks number one with the most people who have been struck by cars and killed. In 2019, from January to June, almost 400 people were killed due to Florida pedestrian crashes. These statistics prove that Florida is one of the most dangerous states for pedestrian/bicycle travel.
In the unfortunate circumstance that you or someone you love has been injured in a pedestrian collision in Florida, contact a Florida pedestrian accident lawyer as soon as possible to inquire about how you may qualify for financial compensation for your injuries and losses.
