Palm City, FL (November 24, 2021) – A collision between a motorcycle and a pick-up truck that took place on Monday, November 22nd on Martin Highway in the area of SW 66th Avenue resulted in the death of a 22-year-old motorcyclist from Fort Pierce.
According to sources, the motorcyclist was riding eastbound on Martin Highway at about 6:00 a.m. behind a pick-up truck driven by a 65-year-old man from Stuart, when the truck driver decided to make a U-turn at the corner of SW 66th Avenue, causing the two vehicles to collide.
The rider died at the scene. He was wearing his helmet when the accident occurred.
The truck driver sustained minor injuries.
