Miami, FL (November 25, 2021) – A passenger in a Corvette died when the driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed on the Dolphin Expressway near Miami International Airport on Monday, November 22nd.
The accident took place at about 3:00 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the expressway in the area of Northwest 42nd Avenue when the driver of the Chevy Corvette lost control, crashed into a concrete barrier wall, and plowed through a guardrail before coming to an uncontrolled stop in a grassy median separating the eastbound and westbound lanes.
The driver sustained non-critical injuries.
His passenger, an adult woman, died from her injuries.
