Stuart, FL (December 14, 2021) – An emergency response was issued to the scene of a vehicle accident that happened on the morning of December 13 in Stuart. At approximately 7:36 a.m., two vehicles were involved in a crash on US-1 near Summerfield.
At least one person was injured in the wreck that happened when a black vehicle and another car collided. According to reports, one vehicle ended up in the bushes with the driver stuck inside while the driver of the black car sustained serious injuries. How the collision occurred remains unknown at this time.
Both drivers required emergency medical attention at the scene. At least one was transported to an area hospital for further care. Their identities have not been released at this time.
Authorities in Stuart continue to investigate the details of the incident. Traffic was delayed in the area for an extended period of time while respondents worked on-site.
