Boca Raton, FL (April 2, 2021) – A fatal traffic accident took the life of one 44-year-old Miami man on Tuesday, March 30, in Boca Raton. The incident occurred at around 6:15 p.m. near Mile Marker 78 on Florida’s Turnpike.
Information provided by the Florida Highway Patrol states that the man was pulled over on the Turnpike’s shoulder near Yamato Road due to engine trouble. While the man was checking his engine outside his truck, a Delray Beach resident in an SUV veered over to the shoulder and struck the man, instantly taking his life.
No one involved has been identified to the public at this point in time. The SUV’s driver was treated for minor injuries at a nearby medical center.
