Broward County, FL (April 11, 2021) – A fatal traffic accident took place at an intersection in Broward County on April 8. At around 5:45 p.m., emergency crews including police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the crash on West Copans Road.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the 1500 block of West Copans Road near North Powerline Road for reasons still being investigated by police. EMTs rendered emergency aid to those who were hurt at the scene, and at least one person lost their life due to the crash.
Those involved have not been publicly identified at this point in time as police continue to investigate the details of the collision. Traffic delays ensued in the area while responders worked to clear the wreckage from the road.
Local motorists were urged to steer clear of the intersection while emergency crews were present. Authorities in Broward County continue to investigate.
