Clay Co, FL (July 10, 2021) – One biker was left in critical condition after two motorcycles crashed into one another on Friday, July 9th in Clay County.
Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol reported that two men from Middleburg were riding motorcycles in the northbound lane of Carter Spence Road at about 10:30 a.m. when, for reasons still under investigation, both bikes jumped a curb into the grass shoulder and lost control, falling and throwing their riders.
One motorcyclist, a 25-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
The other rider, a 26-year-old man, only sustained non-critical injuries. He was also taken to the hospital.
No additional information has been released.
