Coral Springs, FL (June 18, 2021) – At least one person was hurt in an accident that was reported to authorities in Coral Springs on the afternoon of June 17. The wreck was stated to have taken place just before 4:00 p.m.
Authorities and EMTs were sent to assist at the scene of the wreck shortly after it took place. According to reports, the accident occurred at Royal Palm and Riverside. The westbound lanes of Royal Palm were rerouted for an extended period of time while responders worked to secure the scene.
Injured parties were treated on-site before being transported to local hospitals for further care as needed. Their names have not currently been disclosed. Police continue to investigate the details of the accident.
Delays in traffic occurred for approximately two hours after the incident took place. Local traffic officials directed local motorists to alternate travel routes for the time being.
