Dania Beach, FL (August 17, 2021) – A man lost his life in a vehicle that caught fire and two others were sent to the hospital after an accident in Dania Beach on Monday, August 16, officials said. Fire rescue crews responded just before noon to the 2200 block of Griffin Road where the vehicle carrying a man, woman, and child caught fire after striking a concrete pole.
The man driving his 2019 Jaguar was traveling west on Griffin Road when he lost control. He drove over a sidewalk and into a concrete pole, causing the Jaguar to burst into flames, according to reports.

Two empty vehicles parked at a nearby business were damaged by the fire, according to information from officials. The child and woman were transported to an area medical center with serious injuries but are expected to make full recoveries.
Authorities continue to investigate the details of the incident.
We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the family of the deceased. Our thoughts are with the injured parties. We hope for their full recovery.
