Deerfield Beach, FL (October 13, 2021) – At around 8:00 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, October 10, a multi-vehicle accident occurred at an intersection in Deerfield Beach. The incident was reported on Southeast 10th Street near Southeast 6th Avenue, according to reports.
Broward Sheriff’s Office Deerfield Beach district deputies along with paramedics responded to the scene. Investigators said that one vehicle was headed east on Southeast 10th Street when, for unknown reasons, it was involved in a crash with another vehicle.
When one of the drivers got out of their car, a third vehicle struck them and then collided with a wooden light pole. Broward Sheriff’s Fire Rescue units responded and transported that driver to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The road was temporarily closed while officials worked at the scene. Police in Deerfield Beach continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
