Lauderhill, FL (November 13, 2021 ) – Three people sustained injuries in a serious car crash that happened in Lauderhill on the evening of Thursday, November 11. The incident was reported to authorities in the area just after 7:00 p.m.
Witnesses stated that they heard what sounded like an explosion coming from a couple of houses down the road on Northwest 50th Street. The crash happened in the 7700 block of NW 50th near Northwest 49th.
A minivan had crashed into an apartment building, causing injuries to the three occupants of the van. No one living at the apartment was hurt in the wreck, officials said.
Paramedics and other responders were observed on-site a short time after the wreck happened. At least one person required emergency treatment at the scene. The person driving the van was only identified as a female, her name has not been released at this time.
Authorities in Lauderhill continue to investigate the details of the crash. No further information is available at this time.
