Miami Beach, FL (May 23, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hit by a car at an intersection in Miami Beach on the morning of May 23. Shortly after 9:00 a.m., police and paramedics were dispatched to the intersection in order to assist those involved.
According to reports, the crash happened on East Treasure Drive at the intersection of 79th Street Causeway. The factors contributing to the incident have not been reported to the public at this time.
Paramedics found that the motorcyclist had sustained injuries in the wreck and was in need of medical care. They were treated on-site before being transported to an area hospital for further care.
The identity of the injured motorcyclist has not been reported to the public at this point in time. Police continue to investigate the details of the collision.
Local motorists were urged to seek alternate travel routes for the time that responders were present at the scene. Delays in traffic were observed in the area for several hours after the incident took place.
