Miami, FL (December 10, 2021) – The Miami Police Department reported to the scene of a traffic accident reported on Southeast 2nd Avenue on the evening of December 8. The wreck happened at around 9:00 p.m., according to information from officials.
Sources say that the crash happened near the 400 block of Southeast 2nd Avenue when a motorcyclist was fatally struck by a car. Police and EMS were observed at the crash scene shortly after the collision occurred.
The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased on-site by responding medical professionals. The Miami Police Department, Fire Rescue and traffic homicide units were all seen investigating at the crash scene.
The identity of the deceased has not been released at this time. Authorities in Miami continue to investigate the contributing factors of the crash.
