Miami, FL (September 21, 2021) – In the early morning hours of September 18, a pedestrian identified as a 41-year-old male was struck by a vehicle on an interstate in Miami. The wreck was reported to have taken place at around 3:22 a.m.
Reports concerning the crash indicate it occurred on Interstate 75 near the 394 mile marker. The man was attempting to cross the interstate when he was hit by a vehicle that was headed south.
After the man was hit by the first car, the pedestrian was then run over by at least one other vehicle that remains unidentified at this time. That vehicle was also headed south on I-75.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical professionals who responded to the call concerning the incident. The occupants of the first vehicle suffered no injuries, per reports.
