Miami, FL (November 23, 2021) – A traffic collision that occurred between a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle temporarily stalled northbound lanes on US-1 between Southwest 136th Street and 132nd Avenue. The wreck was reported in the early morning hours of Monday, November 23.
Authorities were called to the scene at around 2:20 a.m. in response to the accident. A severely damaged vehicle was found on-site and a semi-truck was parked a short distance away with two flat, slanted tires.
Pinecrest Police stated that one man was transported to Jackson South Hospital with injuries. His current health condition remains unknown at this time.
The scene was active with responders for approximately three hours. Local motorists were forced to find alternative routes for the time being.
