A car crash can be life-altering, stressful, and overwhelming. However, it does not have to define you, or your future. Many auto collisions are the result of the negligent actions of careless and reckless motorists. Sadly, some drivers have little to no regard for the safety of others on the roadway and are constantly placing innocent individuals at risk. If you have been hurt in a crash with a negligent driver, you have important legal rights under Florida law. For example, you could be entitled to receive compensation for your injuries and losses, including your pain and suffering, medical expenses, lost wages, and potentially more. It is important to receive the compensation you deserve so that you can get the treatment you need and get back on your feet faster.
If the accident was not your fault, or even partially your fault, you could be entitled to collect compensation. Don’t wait until it’s too late, as the statute of limitations for personal injury law in Florida is two years. After that period of time, you will no longer be eligible to collect any form of compensation for your injuries.
