Volusia, FL (November 26, 2021) – A 28-year-old man from Titusville and one other person were severely injured on Thursday, November 25th following a collision with another vehicle.
According to sources, the accident took place at about 3:50 a.m. on Interstate 95 close to milepost 243 in Volusia.
State troopers said that, for reasons still under investigation, the man was driving his vehicle southbound in the northbound lanes when he collided head-on with another vehicle being driven by a 70-year-old Vero Beach woman.
Both drivers were loaded onto stretchers and into waiting ambulances. From the scene, they were transported to Halifax Medical Center for immediate medical care.
