West Palm Beach, FL (October 29, 2021) – A crash that occurred on Friday morning, October 29, morning left one or more victims injured in the West Palm Beach area. At approximately 10:38 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Florida’s Turnpike North.
Reports provided by authorities show that a car was traveling along the Turnpike when it was involved in a collision near milepost 78. At least two vehicles were involved in the crash that resulted in injuries for those involved.
An unspecified number of victims were transported from the scene of the collision to an area hospital for treatment. CHP is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
Traffic was delayed in the vicinity of the accident scene, back to milepost 72, for some time on the morning of October 29. Drivers commuting in the area were asked to avoid the site of the collision and seek alternate routes.
